MakeX is an international robotics competition and education platform that promotes multidisciplinary learning. It aims to engage students in innovation and appreciate STEM education.

Students can sign up for the competition by coming to the 7/F Robotic space during recess or arrange to stay afterschool. They will be given a set of robot to build/code/test for the competition. See below for the details of the challenges.

MakeX Inspire – Smart Logistics

Inspire – Smart Logistics is for individuals aged 6-12. There is no restrictions on how the mission can be completed using the robot (pre-coded or with a remote controller).

Participants builds their robot from scratch onsite in 60 minutes. then participants will go through 2 rounds of 2 matches, each round (150 seconds) with a different missions.

Missions M01 – M10

MakeX Starter – All Core Journey

Starter – All Core Journey is for teams of 1-2 members aged 6-13. Everyone in the team can play their respective roles as operator or observer. The operator is responsible for operating the robot, and the observer is responsible for assisting the operator to complete the game. Teams are required to complete the robot self-inspection form before the competition and a mandatory on-stie robot inspection.

All Core Journey is a multi-mission-based competition and requires blue and red teams forming an alliance to participate. It last for 4 minutes and is divided into automatic stage and manual stage. Each team will participate in 4 matches during the Qualification Round .
